Decadis at META-INF Day 2025

Budapest, here we come!

Earlier this month, a small but mighty Decadis delegation – Michele, Thorsten, and Florian – touched down in the Hungarian capital to take part in META-INF Day 2025. What followed was a whirlwind of tech talk, community vibes, tropical shirts, and a memorable rap moment that no one saw coming.

✈️ Touchdown & Takeoff

Our journey began with smooth travels, a classic airport breakfast, and plenty of anticipation. For Florian, it marked his first business trip with Decadis – and the perfect setting to dive into the Atlassian ecosystem from a new perspective.

☀️ Day 1: Booth Buzz & Lyrical Bravery

The conference kicked off under bright blue skies with a warm welcome from the META-INF team. With our Decadis booth fully equipped – complete with swag, smiles, and a side of sunscreen – we were ready to connect.

One of the day’s highlights? Steal the Show – a quick-fire competition for the bold and the brave. Stepping well outside his comfort zone, Florian delivered a tongue-in-cheek rap titled Intergalapptic – an ode to Jira workflows that somehow fused galaxies and gadgets. Nervous? Yes. Fun? Absolutely. Victorious? You bet.

Meanwhile, the booth became a cozy networking spot – quieter in terms of foot traffic, but rich in meaningful conversations with fellow ecosystem partners.

🌴 After Hours in Hawaiian Style

To round off the first day, Team Decadis embraced the laid-back Budapest evening at the official afterparty, dressed in matching Hawaiian shirts. The tropical vibe carried us through a fun-filled night of music, foosball, and unexpected photo booth moments.

📊 Day 2: Talks, Tech & Takeaways

Refreshed by a gentle breeze (finally!), the second day brought more action to our booth. Our now-famous fidget cubes were a crowd magnet, sparking conversations with visitors eager to learn more about our apps and solutions.

The highlight of the day? Michele’s presentation on sumUp for Jira. His clear, concise delivery showed how teams can turn data into actionable insights with ease – a compelling session that captured genuine interest from the audience.

🎁 Raffles, Wrap-Up & the Road Home

While we had to head back to Germany before the closing party, META-INF kindly distributed our raffle prize to one lucky winner on our behalf. With our bags packed, we left Budapest filled with new ideas, fresh connections, and great memories.
