This year, the Atlassian community witnessed one of its most remarkable events: "Enterprise-dam - The Charity Takeover" 🎉. Celebrated as probably the most significant Atlassian Community Event of the year, it held a dazzling array of sessions, engagements, and high-profile appearances, notably from Scott Farquhar, the esteemed co-CEO of Atlassian 🌟.

We at Decadis were incredibly proud đŸŽ–ïž to be one of the main Platinum+ sponsors of this transformative event, which elegantly married industry advancement with charitable giving đŸ€. Our team of five, seasoned experts with years, if not decades of involvement in the Atlassian ecosystem, were present to represent our commitment and passion for the platform.

Set against the backdrop of the stylish "Beers & Barrels" bar đŸ», the event unfolded as an Apptoberfest-themed Marketplace Expo, bringing together up to 30 Marketplace vendors. The spirit of collaboration was palpable as we mingled with fellow partners, Atlassians, and of course, our valued customers.

While our cool swag 🎁 drew the crowds, it was discussions about our top-rated Atlassian apps that kept customers and partners engaged. The chance to exchange thoughts and insights with such a diverse group was invaluable.

Some noteworthy moments from the event:

  • Opening Keynotes: The event had a power-packed start with Sven Peters đŸ’Œ and was further enriched by presentations from a Cloud Enterprise customer.
  • Atlassian Booths: Various Atlassian Teams, including Enterprise Agility, Cloud Migrations, and ITSM, were present, offering a view behind the scenes of their areas of expertise 🔍.
  • Attendees: The event was buzzing with many customers, Atlassians and fellow partners 🙌.

The charitable spirit of the event was unmistakably clear 💜. Leftover funds are set to benefit the Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Hospital in Rotterdam. Additionally, sponsorship will be channeled towards Stichting African Hospitals, affirming the event's commitment to creating a better world 🌐.

The beauty of "Enterprise-dam - The Charity Takeover" was that it catered to everyone. While Enterprise customers formed the core group, Cloud-based and ITSM solution seekers were also in focus. Truly, the event upheld the philosophy that the Atlassian community is for everyone.

In reflection, our experience at this event reaffirms our commitment to the Atlassian ecosystem and the incredible community that powers it đŸ’Ș. With memories created and lessons learned, we are already gearing up for next year. Until then, we'll continue to innovate, collaborate, and drive the Atlassian spirit forward 🚀.
