Today we are happy to announce the release of Version 2.3.0 of Jira Workflow Toolbox (JWT). Version 2.3.0 comprises several new post functions, features and improvements.
The biggest, single highlight is the implementation of the Transition issue post function, allowing a workflow step to automatically transition other issues and/or subtasks anywhere in the Jira instance. The function offers a number of possibilities that can be used to select issues to be transitioned incl. JQL Queries, issue filters, status and resolution filters, linked issues and more. The function also allows transitioning to a target status or by transition name, adding a Condition for execution, adding transition options and the possibility to use a different user to execute the function.
We have improved the Create issues and sub-tasks post-function significantly. It now supports transferring attachments, comments and links to the issues to be created.
As of JWT version 2.3.0, you can find the new and improved Jira Workflow Toolbox documentation here: Documentation
We invested alot of time migrating the existing documentation to a Confluence instance that allows better and more efficient navigation
One more thing: We also implemented a brand new Service Desk Portal for Jira Workflow Toolbox. Please use the portal to contact us if you have any questions, want to report a bug or suggest improvements.
Take a look at the portal right now: Service Desk Portal
